Planning a children's party
A children's party does not need to be big to be memorable. Entertainers, magicians, face painters and party planners can take a lot of pressure off, especially when you are hosting a group of excited kids. Start with your child's age and interests: what delights a four-year-old is very different from what a ten-year-old enjoys.
When you contact a provider, ask what age range their show or activity is designed for, how long it lasts, how much space they need and whether it can move indoors if the weather turns. In a multilingual country like Luxembourg, check which language the entertainer will use, so every child can follow along. Ask about materials too: face paints should be made for skin, and small parts or balloons need care around toddlers. Share any allergies if food or sweets are part of the package. Book early for weekends and school holidays, and confirm the details in writing a few days before the party.
