Still Mom S.à r.l.

Founded by Inga after her own miscarriage, it offers bookable online sessions with psychologists, nutritionists, yoga and meditation teachers and fertility specialists, plus a blog and community. It is a private organisation, so sessions are not reimbursed by the CNS.
Viviane Kieffer-Schmit
State-registered nurse offering parent and baby support in Luxembourg: certified baby massage courses (IAIM), emotional first aid (EEH) and Basic-Bonding consultations, workshops on infant sleep and crying, and small-group workshops on reading your baby's cues for parents of babies aged 0 to 6 months.
Support during pregnancy and after birth
Pregnancy, birth and the first weeks with a baby are a time when good support matters. In Luxembourg, midwives (sages-femmes) are regulated health professionals who can accompany you during pregnancy, birth and after you return home, and the care listed in the CNS midwife nomenclature is covered in full by the national health insurance (CNS).
A doula is different: she offers emotional and practical support, such as birth preparation, comfort during labour and help settling in at home, but does not provide medical care. Many parents choose a doula alongside their midwife and doctor. When you meet someone, ask about their training, experience and availability around your due date, which languages they speak and what their package includes. Maternity hospitals and local associations also run birth preparation and breastfeeding courses, so ask your maternity ward what they offer. Choose someone you feel comfortable with, as you will share very personal moments. For any medical concern, your midwife, gynaecologist or maternity ward should always be your first call.
