By using Kannerlux, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.

All users must:

• Provide accurate and truthful information when creating listings or profiles
• Comply with all applicable Luxembourg and EU laws
• Respect other users and maintain a safe, friendly environment
• Not post illegal, harmful, or misleading content
• Be solely responsible for their interactions, transactions, and agreements made through the platform
• Report suspicious activity or content that violates these terms

Kannerlux is not a party to transactions: The Family Marketplace is a platform for peer-to-peer transactions between individual users. Kannerlux does not buy, sell, or own any items listed. We are not responsible for:

• Quality, condition, safety, or legality of items listed
• The accuracy of listing descriptions or images
• Payment processing or delivery arrangements between buyers and sellers
• Disputes arising from transactions

Free to use: Posting a listing on the Family Marketplace is free. Sellers set their own asking price or list an item as free. Kannerlux charges no listing fee, no commission, and no fee when an item sells.

Payment and handover happen directly between buyer and seller: Kannerlux does not process payments and never holds, transfers, or takes a cut of your money. The platform works like a classifieds board: we help you find each other, and the two of you agree between yourselves how to pay and hand over the item, for example cash in person, Digicash, bank transfer, or any other method you both accept. Agree the terms in advance, meet in a safe place, and check the item before paying. Any dispute over payment or delivery is between buyer and seller.

Giving to charity is optional and chosen by the seller: A sale on the Family Marketplace gives nothing to charity unless the seller deliberately opts in for that listing and selects the charity and the share themselves. There is no automatic or platform-wide deduction from sales, and sellers who do not opt in keep the full amount they agree with the buyer.

The charity share is not in operation yet: The give-back option is visible on the platform but is not yet active, because passing a share of a sale to a charity requires online payment processing, which Kannerlux does not currently offer. Until that is in place, no share of any sale is collected, held, or forwarded by Kannerlux, and any share shown in a listing is indicative only. Sellers who wish to support a charity in the meantime can give directly through the Donate page. These Terms will be updated before the feature goes live.

Tax responsibilities: Sellers are solely responsible for complying with Luxembourg tax laws. If you sell regularly or generate significant income, you may need to register as a business and collect VAT. Kannerlux does not handle tax collection or reporting. Please consult a tax advisor if unsure.

Kannerlux allows businesses to post service offerings (e.g., cleaning, tutoring, babysitting agencies). Kannerlux does not accept listings from individual babysitters or babysitting requests from parents. All service providers are independent contractors and not employees of Kannerlux.

Important: Verification tags indicate document review only. They do not guarantee service quality, reliability, or suitability. Users must conduct their own due diligence, check references, and make informed decisions when hiring service providers.

Our forum is a space for respectful, supportive discussion. All posts are subject to moderation. We reserve the right to remove content that:

• Contains hate speech, harassment, or bullying
• Is spam, advertising, or promotional without authorization
• Violates privacy or shares personal information without consent
• Includes false, misleading, or harmful medical advice
• Infringes intellectual property rights

Repeated violations may result in account suspension or termination.

Intellectual Property Rights

The Kannerlux platform, including its design, logo, and original content, is owned by Kannerlux and protected by intellectual property laws. Users retain ownership of content they post but grant Kannerlux a license to display, distribute, and promote that content on the platform.

You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute platform content without permission.

Modifications to Terms

Kannerlux reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
